Patience.. Sigh. Even the sight of the word seems to have us taking in a huge breath. Why is it that there’s just no way of getting around this one?

In life it seems that the things really worth finding, and Knowing take a little more time to master and understand than those which have only temporary happiness. Just like the saying, “Give a man a fish and you feed him for a day, but teach a man to fish and you feed him for his life.” It takes a little more time to learn how to fish, but it is so worth it in the end! Once you Know how to fish, no-one can ever take it away from you. You will never have to wait for someone else to give you one or worry what you will do when the one you have is gone, for you Know the supply is there and you only need apply your skills 🙂

The Knowing will be written on your heart.You will Know it ‘off by heart’.

This word patience has been finding it’s way to me repeatedly lately, and with it comes an image of a plant sprouting from a seed to the hugest most massive tree. When we choose to understand our truth and follow our heart, we often find ourselves planting new seeds… These take time to grow.

If we get impatient, jump up and down, and get fed up with the growing process, we might rip our seeds out while they are only just sprouting… We may have something for a day but we will then need to plant more seeds and wait even longer in order to enjoy what we have grown again. In some cases we may give up and never plant again. If however, we nurture that seed, water it, nourish it, love it, sing to it (hee, hee… couldn’t resist putting that in) and allow it to grow into all it can be, we will have a huge tree which will grow a never ending supply.

There’s nothing more we can do to speed up the process. Patience and trust that the tree now Knows how to do its thing is all that is needed.. And when that day comes where you pick off its first true fruit Knowing that there is plenty more where that came from… How wonderful that day will feel 🙂

All is well. Where you are is perfect. Keep planting those seeds, get excited when they sprout, and be patient as you imagine all the limitless fruit on its way… It’ll be so worth the wait 😉
