The Go-Giver!

I am reading the most amazing book at the moment called ‘The Go-Giver – A Little Story About A Powerful Business Idea’ by Bob Burg and John David Mann!

This book is sooooooooooo good! The whole time I find myself saying, “Yes, yes, YES!!!!!!!”

The book focuses on the way in which success is built and inspired by service. Not service as a means to get something you want, or to win people over etc. It is service as a way of Being – just because.

I absolutely love it. And everyone can serve right here, right now. No matter who we are, what we do, what we have or what we don’t..  And it’s not about deprivation or self-sacrifice – though sometimes it may appear to others that way. It is about giving.

I love it.

The book takes you through a series of ‘Laws’ as it states. I am going to read through each day and list them on my blog.

In the book, the character in the book is challenged to put them into practise immediately -as soon as they read them.

Let’s do it too!

The coolest thing about it is that it feels sooooooooooo good! And everybody else feels good too! It’s win, win, win!

I have been smiling beatifically since opening the first page of the book! (Beatifically means ‘feeling or expressing blissful happiness.. my new favourite word which I also learned from the book!)

I definitely recommend this book to anyone who loves to give and desires to have the resources to do so without limit! 🙂

The first ‘law’ is this:

The Law of Value

“Your true worth is determined by how much more you give in value than you take in payment.”

Yes, yes, and oh my gosh, YES! 🙂 xxx
